Published in October 2001. MINED, a palindrome of the word ‘denim’, was a biannual collectable publication created by Tank for Levi’s RED.
MINED over matter believes that asking questions is more important than having answers. Do ideas have weight? Is it true that visions can smash mountains? Can a magazine have feelings? Make up your own MINED on matters of black holes and questions about whether music can express inexpressible emotions.
The publication won the D&AD Yellow Pencil Editorial and Book Design Award in 2002.
